Norlys Egersund Mini 2314AL is a 49 cm LED garden bollard with a 12 cm diameter and a light grey RAL 9006 finish. Its cylindrical body is made from powder-coated cast aluminium. A clear PMMA enclosure exposes the distinctive cone-shaped reflector, making the optical assembly a visible part of the design rather than concealing it behind an opaque ring.

A low lighting point beside a path

This outdoor fitting is intended for gardens, private grounds and park settings. It can be positioned beside paths, driveways and terrace edges. Compare its 49 cm height with the eventual height of surrounding planting so that the light-emitting section remains clear. Allow for the 12 cm diameter when setting out a mounting position outside the usable walking route.

The plain cylindrical silhouette and light grey finish suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian landscaping schemes. The transparent upper section leaves the reflector on display even when the light is switched off, giving this otherwise simple bollard its recognisable detail.

Warm white output and DALI2 control

The integrated LED module produces warm white light at 3000 K. Total luminaire consumption is 9.1 W, with a luminaire output of 864 lm. This is the light leaving the complete fitting, not the higher output of the LED module on its own. Rotationally symmetrical distribution spreads light around the bollard, so consider the surrounding area on every side when choosing its position. Spacing between multiple fittings should follow the manufacturer's photometric data and the lighting design, rather than being inferred from bollard height alone.

This 2314AL version supports DALI2. Its control arrangement needs to be incorporated into the electrical design; the designation does not establish that a handheld dimmer is supplied.

Fixing and future servicing

The fitting is rated IP65 and electrical protection class II. Its fixing arrangement uses three 9 mm holes, spaced at 120° on a 65 mm diameter circle. The anchors and mounting adapters listed by Norlys are sold separately, so decide on the mounting method before ordering accessories. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the instructions. The LED module and control gear are replaceable by professional service personnel; this is not a fitting for an ordinary screw-in bulb.
