Hitra 1330AL is a flat outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular box that shines downward through a round window in its underside. The cast-aluminium body is powder-coated light grey (RAL 9006), and the window is closed with clear safety glass.
Size and installation
The fitting is 15 cm wide and only 6 cm high, but it projects 20 cm from the wall — it sticks out like a small canopy with the light falling from underneath. It is fixed with two screws through ø4 mm holes 104 mm apart; for mounting on a building corner Norlys offers corner bracket 151, sold separately.
The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and let you feed the next light (loop-through up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), and the gland takes a cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter, so a row along a façade or wall can run on one cable. It is a protection class I fitting and needs the earth conductor connected. IP65 allows mounting on a wall with no roof over it, and IK06 means basic impact resistance.
What light it gives
The light source is an integrated 9.5 W Philips Fortimo LED module. 920 lm of warm 3000 K light (Ra 80) leaves the fitting — roughly what an old 75 W bulb gave. The light spreads wide and downward in a half-sphere and none goes up (ULOR 0%), so it lights the wall and the path below rather than the windows above.
The fitting is not dimmable; it simply switches on and off. The LED module is not user-replaceable, but the whole light does not have to be replaced either: a professional service swaps it, and Norlys supplies a repair kit for the job. The maker rates the module at L70 over 50,000 h.
Where it fits
The plain, flat shape without ornament suits a modern façade, a fence with a gate, a balcony or the entrance to a hotel or restaurant — anywhere even light is needed on the wall and below it.
