NORLYS Hitra 2461GR Graphite LED Outdoor Ceiling Light

Hitra 2461GR is a small, square outdoor ceiling light with a flat body: 13 × 13 cm and only 6 cm high. The housing is powder-coated cast aluminium in graphite (RAL 7016), closed underneath by a satin safety-glass diffuser seated on a silicone gasket.

Where it is mounted

Norlys designs the Hitra for mounting on horizontal surfaces — the ceiling of a covered entrance, the soffit under the eaves or the roof of a carport — and for lighting the walls and facade below it. The light leaves symmetrically downwards and the ULOR is 0 %, so none of it shines above the fitting into the sky or into windows higher up.

The IP65 rating means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact-resistance class, which matters where the fitting hangs low over a walkway.

What light it gives

The fitting draws 14.5 W and delivers 1024 lm — noticeably more than an old 60 W bulb, enough to light an entrance or a section of facade. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light, and the satin glass spreads it so that no individual LEDs are visible. The LED module and driver are built in, so nothing else has to be bought for it to work.

Control is via DALI-2, so dimming and switching need a DALI installation rather than an ordinary wall dimmer.

Connection

The fitting is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm apart. It is a protection class I luminaire and needs an earth conductor, so the connection is a job for an electrician. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next fitting (up to 5 × 1.5 mm²), so a row along a facade runs from one supply line. The manufacturer states that up to 46 of these fittings can go on one circuit with a B 10 A breaker, and up to 74 with a B 16 A.
