Lamppost 1257AL is a 4 m aluminium lighting pole standing on a square base plate 24 cm across. It is cast in aluminium and powder-coated in light grey colour RAL 9006. Norlys describes it as a light-construction pole intended for gardens and private grounds.
What you need to buy separately
This is the pole alone, with no luminaire and no light source. At the top it has a 60 mm spigot, so it takes a pole-top luminaire with a Ø60 fitting – when choosing a lamp, simply compare that mounting diameter with the luminaire's data sheet. For anchoring in the ground the manufacturer specifies the B-50 concrete foundation.
Installation and wiring
The base plate is bolted to the anchoring elements through four ø16.5 mm holes on a 180 mm square. The pole has an inspection door, a PE protective-earth connector and a terminal block for conductors up to 3 × 4 mm² in a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter – the supply cable runs up inside the pole to the luminaire.
The pole weighs 10.2 kg and the package measures 210 × 25 × 25 cm. Installation and connection should be carried out by a qualified electrician. In the same family Norlys offers a 4 m pole on a round base (1277) and a version adjustable in height from 2.6 to 4 m (1275).
