NORLYS Lillehammer DC2293GB outdoor wall light, grey beige

NORLYS Lillehammer DC2293GB is an outdoor wall light with a rectangular, powder-coated cast-aluminium body. The GB version has a grey-beige RAL 7006 finish and optical safety glass. Its purpose is not to spread light broadly around the building: it sends a particularly narrow beam upwards and another downwards, drawing two lines of light on the wall.

A narrow architectural accent

The 4° beam in each direction distinguishes this version from wider-beam members of the Lillehammer family. Choose it to accent a façade or an architectural wall surface rather than as the sole source of general lighting for a driveway or terrace. On a terrace or balcony wall, its role remains to highlight the vertical surface, not to illuminate the whole outdoor area.

Two LED modules consume 7.2 W in total and produce warm-white light at 2700 K. The luminaire delivers 31 lm after the optics. That figure is different from the 1024 lm quoted for the light sources themselves, so the module output should not be used as a measure of the light leaving the fitting. The narrow distribution is the important purchasing distinction.

Plan the external 24 V supply

This fitting requires an external constant-voltage DC 24 V power supply and must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains circuit. The LED modules support dimming; the power supply and control arrangement must be selected accordingly. Replacing the LED source is a professional servicing operation, not a routine bulb change.

Check the wall space before installation

The body measures 18.5 cm high, 11 cm wide and 8 cm deep. Two 5 mm fixing holes are arranged at 45 × 130 mm centres. Compare the cable exit and mounting position with the manufacturer's instructions before preparing the wall.

IP65 ingress protection and IK08 impact resistance apply with correct installation, including the cable seal. The plain front, straight edges and absence of an ornamental shade suit modern, minimalist architecture; the grey-beige finish should be matched to the façade as this specific colour, rather than treated as graphite.
