NORLYS Trysil 1072GR lighting pole graphite 3.5 m LED 17 W 3000 K

Trysil 1072 is a complete 3.5 m lighting pole — pole and luminaire form one unit. The body is an extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated graphite RAL 7016. At the top the profile bends into a single arm with an overall reach of 71 cm, and its underside holds a diffuser of clear textured polycarbonate, UV-stabilised and sealed with silicone.

How much light, and what kind

Two LED modules in the head add up to 15.1 W and 2748 lm; the luminaire as a whole draws 17 W and emits 1667 lm, which is 98.1 lm/W. 3000 K is warm white, CRI 80 renders colours correctly, and SDCM3 means several poles in one line shine in the same shade.

The diffuser spreads the light in a downward hemisphere. The manufacturer states ULOR 0% and a BUG rating of B1-U1-G1, so no light goes above the luminaire and it does not brighten the sky.

Dimming, power and service

The built-in driver allows dimming with a trailing-edge (TE) or leading-edge (LE) phase dimmer. The luminaire runs on 220–240 V; it is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², poles can be looped through with cable up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the round cable may be up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The inrush current is 5 A for 50 µs — a figure to account for when sizing the breaker for several poles on one circuit.

The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service, using Norlys's ZS1084 service kit. The manufacturer rates the modules at L80 102,000 h (L90 52,600 h) and the driver at 50,000 h. To order, Norlys makes versions with 1–10 V control, in protection class II, in 2700 K, with surge protection, in another RAL colour or at another height.

Installation and where it fits

The pole is installed following the supplied instructions, and other accessories are bought separately; the work should be done by a qualified person. IP65 means the luminaire is dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 means it withstands a 20 J impact, the top of that scale. The pole weighs 21.6 kg.

Norlys designed Trysil for private grounds and architectural schemes: parks, driveways and terraces. The plain, angular profile without ornament is a modern, minimalist form.
