Outdoor Wall Light NORLYS Como 370CS corten, clear diffuser, E27 IP54

Como 370CS is an outdoor wall light in the form of a classic lantern: a curved arm rises from a wall plate and carries a lamp with a conical hood and a clear, oval diffuser. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated in a corten-steel colour – a warm rusty brown close to RAL 8011 – and the diffuser is UV-stabilised polycarbonate.

Dimensions and wall mounting

The light is 44 cm high and 27 cm wide and projects 39 cm from the wall — a reach worth checking next to doors that open outwards and along narrow passages. It weighs 2.3 kg and is fixed through four ø5 mm holes spaced 25 × 140 mm. Norlys also allows mounting on a building corner; that needs the corner bracket 152XX0009, sold separately.

The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the cable entry accepts round sheathed cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The light is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth — a two-core supply is enough.

Lamp and type of light

The light has an E27 socket and takes an A55–A60 LED lamp, i.e. a classic bulb 55–60 mm in diameter, of up to 9 W. The lamp is not included, and the user replaces it. To order, the fitting comes with a dimmable Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K — a warm light as bright as an old 60 W bulb.

The diffuser is clear, so the lamp is visible under the hood. The light is open: most of it falls downwards and sideways, and about 17% of the flux (ULOR) goes up and brightens the wall above the fitting. Whether it can be dimmed depends on the chosen lamp and dimmer.

Durability and spare parts

IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, so the light can hang on an exposed façade. The cable enters through an EPDM gland, and the operating range is −20 to +45 °C. The diffuser is available as service set 06370797.

Norlys describes Como as a wall light of classic design for general use. The rusty-brown colour and lantern shape suit brick, timber and rendered façades on traditional houses, by the entrance or along the garden-side wall.
