COMO 371BL garden and park lantern E27, black, adjustable 182–249 cm – Norlys

COMO 371BL is a complete Norlys garden lantern: a classic head with its shade hung from a curved arm, mounted on a telescopic post. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated black (RAL 9005), and the diffuser is clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate.

Height and what comes in the set

The post is telescopic, so the overall height can be set anywhere from 182 to 249 cm — lower beside borders and paths, higher where the light needs to cover a larger part of the garden. The head with its arm is 27 cm wide and 41 cm deep in side view.

The set has three parts: the luminaire (art. 3030), the reducer (art. 3040) and the post (art. 3010). A ground anchor, a concrete-in anchor or a concrete foundation adapter is ordered separately. The base fixes through three ø10.5 mm holes spaced at 120° on a ø240 mm circle, so it is worth deciding how the post will be anchored before buying.

Light source and connection

The lantern has an E27 socket and takes an LED bulb of up to 9 W in the A55–A60 shape — a wider globe or a long candle will not fit under the diffuser. No bulb is included. The manufacturer names an LED 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K bulb as the matching source, the brightness of an old 60 W bulb in warm light. You change the bulb yourself.

The luminaire is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to loop on to the next lantern, so several along a path can run from one cable. The gland takes round cable 6–12.5 mm in diameter.

Working outdoors

IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, and a silicone gasket seals the diffuser. About 17% of the light goes above the level of the head, so the lantern lights not only the ground below but the shade itself and its immediate surroundings — the way a classic open lantern works.

The manufacturer intends it for gardens and parks; it also suits a terrace and the grounds of hotels and restaurants. The luminaire carries a 5-year warranty and its corrosion protection a 25-year one. The COMO series also includes two- and three-head versions and a white finish.
