Paul Neuhaus / JUST LIGHT Andrea-LED 14243-16 white ceiling light Ø24.5 cm LED 8W 3000K Limited Offer

The ANDREA-LED 14243-16 is a round ceiling light 24.5 cm across, built from a white metal base and an opal plastic cover that spans the whole fitting as a shallow dome. The light source is a built-in LED module running at 3000 K.

How much room it takes under the ceiling

The fitting measures 24.5 cm in diameter and projects 9 cm below the ceiling. Compare that figure with the spot you have in mind: 9 cm clears a hallway with a lowered ceiling or a walk-in wardrobe, where a pendant would be in the way.

It weighs 0.291 kg, so the load on the ceiling is no constraint here — only the fixing of the base matters. The cover lifts off the metal base, which is screwed to the ceiling; that same movement is what you repeat later to vacuum the inside of the fitting.

What light it gives and what you do not have to buy

The LED module is built in permanently — there is no lampholder and no thread, so you buy no lamp now and none later. The fitting works the moment it is wired in, though that cuts both ways: when the module reaches the end of its life the whole luminaire is replaced, not just the source.

3000 K is warm white — light with a faintly yellow cast, closer to the old incandescent bulb than to an office fitting. The cover is opal across its whole area and lights up evenly, so the fitting gives diffused light with no defined beam and no hard shadow below it. The manufacturer intends it for indoor use; it runs on 230 V mains.

Build and wiring

The base is metal, the cover plastic, both white — no ornament, no pressings and no visible screws, which is why the fitting reads as a smooth dome. A shape like that does not compete with the rest of the room, and it usually ends up in a hallway, where a light simply has to show the way through.

The luminaire is Class I, so the circuit you connect it to must carry an earth conductor. Check before mounting that the ceiling box holds a green-and-yellow core; older installations often do not, and then an electrician is needed.
