Rendl BONDY I R12856 white recessed LED light 7 W 3000 K 24°

Rendl BONDY I R12856 is a single recessed light with a white square trim and a light point set back inside a dark recess. Its round reflector can tilt, so the position of the ceiling opening does not permanently fix the direction of the beam. This fitting is intended only for plasterboard ceilings, rather than surface mounting like a conventional ceiling light.

Plan for a square opening and installation clearance

The visible trim measures 10.3 × 10.3 cm. The manufacturer specifies a square cut-out of 9 × 9 cm and a recess depth of 10 cm. Compare both the opening and the available space above the board with the ceiling construction before choosing a position. A small visible frame does not necessarily mean the fitting will suit a shallow ceiling void.

The technical drawing shows a body height of 76 mm; this does not replace the requirement for 10 cm of installation space. The manual requires installation by a qualified installer with the power disconnected. The fitting is designed for a 230 V supply and includes its power supply.

A focused beam that can be aimed

The integrated LED is rated at 7 W, with a colour temperature of 3000 K and a stated luminous flux of 560 lm. There is no separate bulb to purchase. Warm white describes the colour of the light, while the 24° beam angle produces a relatively narrow cone for highlighting a selected part of the interior.

The reflector can tilt 30° in either direction, aiming away from the axis of the cut-out. The size of the illuminated patch also depends on the distance to the surface. A single fitting should therefore not be treated as equivalent to a broad-distribution light intended to illuminate a whole room evenly.

Interior choices and dimming configuration

The straight-edged trim, white finish and absence of decorative arms suit modern and minimalist interiors. BONDY I can provide accent lighting in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or circulation area; the manufacturer also lists shop lighting. When arranging several fittings, consider the direction of each beam as well as the spacing between frames.

A dimmable version is available on request from the manufacturer. Do not assume the standard fitting works with any wall dimmer: confirm the required configuration before selecting the controls.
