Rendl DANTE R13653 floor lamp, black with wood, E27, 214 cm

Rendl DANTE R13653 is a large floor lamp with a black diagonal arm and a natural-toned wooden support. Its metal structure contrasts with a textile shade suspended from the end of the arm. This places the shade to one side of the base rather than directly above it.

Allow room for the whole arm

The manufacturer's drawing specifies a maximum height of 214 cm and an overall span of 152 cm. The shade measures 40 cm across, while the rectangular base is 25 × 40 cm. When planning its position, measure more than the available floor area: the projecting arm and suspended shade need their own clearance beside the furniture.

In a spacious living room, DANTE can stand next to a sofa; in a bedroom, it can serve a separate sitting area, or provide supplementary light in a dining room. The manufacturer also identifies commercial interiors as suitable, including hotel lounges and restaurant seating areas. Keep the base, arm and trailing cable out of circulation routes rather than placing them where people walk.

A replaceable bulb with cable-mounted switching

The lamp has an E27 holder, a 230 V supply and a 200 cm cable with an on/off switch. The bulb is not supplied and needs to be purchased separately. The producer describes this version as LED E27 15 W; this is not a built-in LED module or a promise of fixed brightness.

Light colour and output depend on the bulb you choose. Do not assume the warm appearance in a lit photograph defines the colour temperature of your own light source. Check the distance to the socket before ordering, so the cable need not cross the approach to a chair or table.

Exposed structure and contrasting materials

The visible junction between wooden support and metal arm gives DANTE a modernist, industrial character. Its textile shade distinguishes it from an all-metal task-lamp head. Handle the shade carefully during assembly and repositioning, as the manufacturer's instructions specifically warn that it can be damaged.
