Rendl LUNA 30 R13966 single-circuit track pendant, opal glass and chrome, E27

Rendl LUNA 30 R13966 pairs a spherical opal-glass shade with chrome details and a transparent cable. This is the pendant version for a single-circuit track, rather than a light supplied with a conventional ceiling rose. Its power cable ends in a track adapter, making the track system an important part of the buying decision.

A 30 cm globe with a separate suspension

The glass shade measures 30 cm across, and Rendl specifies a suspension length of 120 cm. The dimensional drawing shows the suspension and globe height separately: 120 cm is not the overall height including the shade. Compare both parts with your ceiling height and the intended position above a table or counter before planning the installation.

The plain sphere, small chrome fitting above the glass and slender cable give the lamp a restrained outline. This combination suits modern, modernist and minimalist schemes where a round shade is preferred to an elaborate frame. The opal glass and reflective chrome remain visibly different surfaces rather than a single uniform finish.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

The E27 holder accepts a replaceable bulb, which is not included. The installation manual specifies a maximum of 15 W and a 230 V AC supply. Brightness and light colour therefore depend on the compatible LED bulb you select, rather than being fixed by the glass shade. The illuminated product photograph should not be read as a colour-temperature specification for a supplied light source.

Placement and track compatibility

The hanging globe can be considered above a dining table or kitchen island, or in living areas, restaurants, hotels and shops with the appropriate track. It is not a directional spotlight for highlighting one object. Check compatibility with Rendl's single-circuit system before ordering; the general description of a fitting as a track light does not establish a match.

The manual requires installation by a qualified person with the power disconnected. It also warns that the shade is fragile, so the glass needs careful handling during assembly and when replacing the bulb.
