Sherwood table tops are made of solid pine wood, hence the possibility of resin outbreaks. This is a natural property of this tree species. The table top is waxed, so it is recommended to use pads for hot objects placed on the table top. We recommend repeating waxing/oiling operations at least once a year, which will provide better protection for your furniture, as well as fill in any gaps that may have developed in the earlier layer.
