The SLV NUMINOS S PD PHASE is a slim pendant light with a cylindrical aluminium body in matt black. Its integrated LED light source is included, so there is no separate bulb to choose. The light is directed downwards in a 36° beam.

Dimensions and installation

The body is 16.2 cm high and 6.5 cm in diameter, while the pendant length is 250 cm. These measurements can be checked against the ceiling height and the surface that needs lighting. According to the dimension drawing, the surface-mounted ceiling canopy is 10.3 cm in diameter, and the luminaire has a net weight of 0.7 kg.

The narrow cylinder takes up little space in the line of sight. When installing it above a worktop or table, compare the pendant length with the intended distance between the lower edge of the fitting and the illuminated surface.

Light output and beam

The LED module uses 8 W and produces 1050 lm, an efficacy of 131.25 lm/W. This is more than the roughly 800 lm associated with an older 60 W incandescent bulb, concentrated into a 36° beam. The fitting therefore provides directed light for a selected area rather than evenly spreading light throughout an entire room.

A colour temperature of 3000 K produces warm white light, while CRI 90 helps colours retain a natural appearance. A rating of UGR ≤ 16 describes the control of direct glare when the fittings are correctly positioned.

Dimming and maintenance

Brightness can be controlled with a trailing-edge phase dimmer; the control must be suitable for the LED load. The stated service life is 50,000 hours. The built-in light source may only be replaced by a specialist.

The luminaire operates at 220–240 V, is safety class I and rated IP20, so it is intended for dry indoor spaces. The matt black body and black cable give the pendant a consistent finish.
