STAY 3-Spot is a pendant lamp designed by Maria Berntsen for Design For The People (Nordlux) — three cone-shaped shades mounted on a shared centre rod, finished in matt black. The body is aluminium, with some parts in plastic.
Size and hanging
The fixture spans 60 cm across the shades and measures 12 cm from the canopy down to the centre rod; each shade is 15.8 cm in diameter and 13 cm high. The canopy measures 12 × 12 cm, and the black textile cable is 300 cm long, which allows the lamp to be hung lower, for example over a table. The cable cannot be replaced, so the final hanging height is set during installation.
Light source
The lamp has three E27 sockets, each taking a bulb of up to 60 W — bulbs are not included. The angled, open-cut shades let light escape both upward and downward. Dimming is possible, but it requires a bulb described as dimmable — the fixture itself has no built-in dimmer. Protection class II means the lamp does not require earthing.

The manufacturer positions STAY 3-Spot as a fixture to hang over a table — it suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms, as well as hotels and restaurants. The three splayed arms and simple, conical shapes match a modern style with no extra ornamentation.
