TABRUNO LE45171 is a table lamp 20 cm across and 34.5 cm tall. The round base and the flat top cap are metal in a satin gold finish, and between them stands a cylindrical shade of amber glass, reeded with vertical ribs all the way round.
How big it is and where to put it
At 34.5 cm the lamp reaches about the height of a chair back, and its round base takes up a 20 cm circle on the surface — a figure to compare with the depth of the bedside table or console it is meant for. The shade lights every direction, so the lamp does not have to stand against a wall; it looks the same from any side.
How much light it gives and how it is dimmed
The light source is included and permanently built in: an LED module of 10 W, 700 lm and 3000 K. That is a little less than an old 60 W bulb used to give, and 3000 K is a warm white. The amber glass warms that light further, because it passes more of the warm end of the spectrum than the cool one, and the vertical ribs break it into narrow bands — so what lands on the surface and the nearby wall is the pattern of the shade rather than an even pool.
Brightness is adjusted by touching the fitting itself — the dimmer is inside the lamp, so no wall regulator or separate controller has to be bought. Because the diode is built in, it cannot be replaced when it reaches the end of its life.
Build and the TABRUNO family
The manufacturer lists metal and glass as the only materials, and mains power at 230 V. Luces Exclusivas uses the same amber glass shade in two larger TABRUNO versions: the LE45170 pendant, 18 cm across with a drop of up to 250 cm, and the LE45172 floor lamp, 28 cm across and 148.5 cm tall.
