Trio COSIMA 463900115 green floor lamp, E14

Trio COSIMA 463900115 is a green metal floor lamp with a conical shade, a slim upright stem and a round base. Its horizontal arm and swivelling head let you direct light towards a seat without moving the entire fitting.

Positioning beside a chair or bed

TRIO identifies living rooms and bedrooms as intended settings and specifically mentions reading. Compare the lamp's 126.5 cm height with your own chair or bed before choosing its position. The relationship between the shade, your eyes and the page matters more than the overall height alone. The movable head lets you turn the shade opening towards a book; it does not imply that the stem is height-adjustable.

The manufacturer's drawing shows an on/off switch on the lamp head. This provides straightforward switching, not a documented built-in dimmer. When planning the position, allow access to that control rather than assuming that switching is located on the cable.

Choose a separate E14 bulb

The single E14 socket accepts a light source rated at no more than 10 W. A bulb is not included. TRIO recommends an LED bulb, but the actual brightness and colour temperature depend on the source you select. The green fitting itself does not specify a fixed warm-white light or a particular lumen output.

Check the cap, wattage limit and bulb dimensions against the 15 cm shade diameter. Buying a dimmable bulb alone does not give the fitting a dimming function.

Allow for the projecting arm

The overall width is 52.5 cm, while the round base measures 24 cm across. These are different planning measurements: space beside furniture must accommodate the projecting arm and shade as well as the base. The technical drawing specifies a 180 cm supply cable, so compare the intended position with the distance to your socket.

Plain metal lines and a single green finish suit a modern or minimalist interior. COSIMA serves as local lighting beside a seat rather than a manufacturer-guaranteed replacement for general room lighting.
