Trio ROCCO 283916006 is a horizontal bathroom wall light measuring 60 cm across. Its chrome-finished aluminium body is paired with a white acrylic diffuser. The shallow rectangular bar emits light both upwards and downwards rather than directing all of its output beneath the fitting. An integrated LED light source is included, so there is no separate bulb to select for this lamp.
Warm white light on both sides
The 8 W LED module provides 800 lm at a colour temperature of 3000 K. This is a fixed warm white, worth comparing with the other light sources in your bathroom before installation. The two-way output also places light on the wall above the bar. ROCCO is not an adjustable spotlight designed to aim a narrow beam at different positions.
It can supplement lighting around a washbasin, but its lumen figure alone does not establish how brightly an entire bathroom will be lit. The distance to the illuminated surface, the colour of that surface and the other fittings in the room all matter when planning the arrangement.
Allow for the projection from the wall
The fitting is 3.6 cm high and, according to the manufacturer's drawing, 8 cm deep. Its low front profile therefore should not be mistaken for a body that sits flat against the wall. Compare the 60 cm width with your available space and check that the projecting housing will not interfere with nearby furniture or fittings.
The manufacturer specifies wall mounting only and a 230 V supply. IP44 includes protection against splashing water, but does not permit unrestricted placement beside a bath or shower. Choose the position and electrical connection in accordance with bathroom installation requirements.
A straight chrome accent
Straight lines, smooth surfaces and the absence of decorative arms support a modern, minimalist setting. Chrome looks different from a matt silver coating, a distinction to consider when matching taps and other metal finishes. The white acrylic contrasts with the housing without adding another colour to the scheme.
