Wall Spotlight Rendl TRICA I R13372 GU10 25W Black Adjustable 13 cm

The Rendl TRICA I is a small spotlight measuring 5.5 × 13 × 9 cm and weighing 0.21 kg. The manufacturer intends it for wall and ceiling alike, so the same fitting serves as a wall spot over a picture or a ceiling point above a worktop — only the way you screw it down decides which.

Range of adjustment

This is the fitting's real function: the head tilts through 80° and rotates through 350°. In practice that means almost any spot within reach can be lit from a single connection point — from the floor directly beneath it to the opposite wall. The 350° rotation also allows the aim to be corrected after the furniture moves, without twisting the base and without touching the wiring.

Light source

The GU10 lampholder takes lamps of up to 25 W. The bulb is not supplied, and the manufacturer recommends its own G11841 reflector lamp. The choice therefore stays with the user: a narrow beam makes a strong accent on a picture or an exhibit, a wide one gives even fill across part of a room. The fitting needs no transformer and runs directly from the 230 V mains.

Construction

The body is metal, in black. The manufacturer specifies enclosed interiors — residential and commercial alike; this is not a construction for outdoor use or wet zones. When planning the installation it is worth settling the direction of light in advance, because although the head moves, the base stays where it was screwed down.
