Aldex Form 1108B12 is a metal desk and table lamp with a satin pistachio finish. Its conical shade hangs beneath a horizontal arm, while an upright support and flat circular base define the geometric silhouette. The colour extends across the shade and frame rather than appearing only on a small decorative detail.
Check the space around the lamp
Form measures 40 cm high, 22 cm wide and 23 cm deep. Compare all three measurements with the intended position on your desk or side table. The width and depth describe the complete fixture, not just its base. Its 16 cm shade sits below the arm, so the overall height should not be mistaken for the clearance between the tabletop and the bottom of the shade.
Aldex identifies desks, side tables and relaxation areas as suitable settings. This supports using Form for local lighting in a study or beside a reading seat. If you are considering it for a bedside table, check the available surface first: being a table lamp does not mean it will fit every narrow bedside shelf.
One E27 fitting and a downward-facing shade
The shade contains a single E27 fitting. Its light-coloured interior and open underside matter to the way the lamp handles light: the cone directs it towards the surface below. The opaque metal shade does not illuminate its surroundings in the same way as a translucent glass shade or an exposed bulb.
Brightness and light colour depend on the bulb used, not on the pistachio exterior. When selecting a light source, check the fitting and compatibility with the fixture markings. The manufacturer's photograph shows a black cable with an inline switch; leave that switch accessible when deciding where to place the lamp.
A geometric design with a satin surface
The cone, slender right-angled arm and flat round base support a modern, modernist and minimalist appearance. The satin surface retains visible reflections without the mirror-like character of chrome. In variant 1108B12, the pistachio colour brings a distinct finish to this simple arrangement of metal forms.
