ALFAS is a wall lamp shaped as a plain bar, 68 cm long and 5 cm high, finished in matt black. A rectangular mounting plate sits at the centre of the bar, joined to it by a short arm, and the lit edge runs the whole length. The body combines steel, aluminium and acrylic.
How much light it gives and what you need to buy
The built-in LED module draws 16 W and delivers 1040 lm. The old 60 W bulb corresponds to roughly 800 lm, so this bar is noticeably brighter - enough to light a face at the mirror rather than merely graze the wall.
The manufacturer gives the colour of the light as a 3000-4000 K range, that is from warm white with a slightly yellow cast to neutral white. The source is included and permanently built in: there is no socket and no replaceable bulb, so nothing beyond installation hardware is needed to put the fitting into service.
Where it may be mounted
IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the fitting suits a bathroom: above a mirror or above a washbasin top, out of reach of the direct jet from a shower.
The bar is 68 cm wide, and that is the figure to set beside the width of the mirror or the counter it will hang over. At 5 cm high it takes only a narrow strip above the mirror, and its rectangular section has no rounding and no visible screws.
Mounting and supply
The lamp runs on 230 V mains. It is fixed by a rectangular plate screwed to the wall at the middle of the bar, so the connection box has to sit at the half-length of the fitting rather than at its end. The whole bar carries a single light source shared by both arms.
