Antigo Nomi 1149 LED ceiling light black round Ø42 cm 15.8 W 2017 lm 3000K

Nomi is a round surface-mounted ceiling light 42 cm across and only 5.5 cm deep, made in Częstochowa by Antigo. The black aluminium-and-steel body has a textured finish — a matt, slightly rough coating that does not throw point reflections and does not collect fingerprints.

5.5 cm — why that is the heart of this lamp

At 42 cm across, the fitting is under six centimetres deep. That proportion means it sits against the ceiling rather than hanging below it — the only sensible answer where height is limited: a flat with a 2.5 m ceiling, a corridor, a stairwell, a dressing room, or a space with wardrobe doors that swing up. A chandelier gets in the way in those places; a ceiling light this thin is practically invisible until it is switched on.

2017 lumens from 15.8 W

The LED module draws 15.8 W and returns 2017 lm, an efficacy of roughly 128 lm/W — the level of a technical fitting rather than a decorative one, and clearly above what luminaires with a light-absorbing shade achieve. In practice 2017 lm is enough general light for a room of 12–16 m²: a living room, a bedroom, an office or a large hallway. That figure comes from 22 diodes spread across the whole surface rather than one strong source, which is why the acrylic diffuser glows evenly with no visible bright spots.

3000 K

The light is 3000 K, warm white. That is a domestic colour: not as yellow as the 2700 K of old bulbs, but distinctly warmer than the neutral 4000 K of offices. It works well beside timber, brick and warm wall colours, and the black housing gives a clear contrast — the ceiling stays bright while the fitting reads as a dark disc.

Mounting and electrics

The fitting is surface-mounted: it fixes straight to the ceiling, with no opening to cut and no void needed above the board. The driver is built in, so it connects directly to a 230 V supply — no separate transformer and no room to find for one. It weighs 3.4 kg, which at 42 cm means a solid metal build, but also means anchors matched to the ceiling material; in plasterboard, ordinary plugs will not do.

A permanently built-in source

Nomi has an LED module integrated into the fitting — there is no bulb to change and none to buy, because the light source is part of the product. The consequence is symmetrical: when the diodes reach the end of their life, the whole luminaire is replaced. Antigo covers it with a 5-year guarantee, well above the usual two. The IP20 rating places it in dry interiors — not above a shower, and not outdoors.
