Antigo Yakumo 2 7806 black adjustable GU10 recessed spotlight

Antigo Yakumo 2 7806 is a black recessed spotlight with a single GU10 socket. A projecting cylindrical head sits within a circular trim, rather than disappearing almost entirely into the ceiling. Painted steel and the uncluttered geometry give the fitting a modern, minimalist appearance, with the tube remaining a visible part of the ceiling design.

A head that changes the direction of light

The section holding the bulb is movable, and the manufacturer's drawing indicates a 30° tilt range. This lets you adjust the direction after installation instead of being limited to light falling straight down. When planning the ceiling positions, consider both the location of each fitting and the surface you want it to illuminate.

The chosen GU10 bulb also determines the light distribution. A narrow-beam bulb produces a different result from a wide-beam version, so the adjustable head does not by itself define the width of the illuminated area. Check brightness and light colour against the specifications of the particular bulb.

Check the drawing before cutting

The technical drawing gives dimensions of 183, 170 and 80 mm. Compare the complete drawing with your ceiling construction and the space for the recessed section before preparing an opening. An overall fitting dimension is not automatically the required cut-out dimension. The installation guide shows spring fixing and a protective-earth connection; electrical work should be carried out by a qualified person.

One replaceable light source

The fitting takes one LED GU10 bulb rated at no more than 10 W. This is a limit for the individual bulb, not the rating of an integrated LED module. A replaceable source lets you choose its lighting characteristics without changing the fitting itself.

Yakumo can serve as a directional lighting point in a living room, bedroom, entrance hall or corridor, and the same principle can be used in an office or shop interior. Plan the number of fittings around the area and the bulb specifications rather than assuming one spotlight will illuminate the whole room. The black ring and projecting head remain deliberate visual elements.
