AUTLAN is a pendant light shaped as a vertical black ring, 39.5 cm in diameter, hanging from a single suspension below a cylindrical ceiling canopy. The body is aluminium and the light-diffusing element is acrylic. Luces Exclusivas lists the model under the symbol LE42771.
Size and suspension
From the ceiling to the bottom edge of the ring the fitting measures 150 cm. Subtract that from your own ceiling height – the result tells you how high above the floor the bottom of the ring will sit, and with a 75 cm dining table, how much room is left above the tabletop. Compare the 39.5 cm diameter with the width of the table it is meant to hang over.
Light
The light source is an integrated 25 W LED module built into the fitting – there is no lampholder and no bulb to buy, and the module is not changed like an ordinary bulb. The manufacturer states 741 lm, slightly less than an old 60 W incandescent, at 3000 K, which is warm white.
That output is enough for the area over a table, but not for a whole large room – there AUTLAN works alongside another source of general light.
Where to hang it
AUTLAN is intended for hanging over a table. The plain geometric form without ornament and the solid black suit modern interiors.
