BAZAR BIZAR Teak Root Jar L teakwood storage jar with lid 19 cm

BAZAR BIZAR The Teak Root Jar in size L is a hand-carved teakwood container with a flat, removable wooden lid. Its cylindrical body leaves the grain visible, while the lid continues the outline of the vessel. This is a wooden storage and decorative object, rather than a glass preserving jar or a pouring jug.

Check the dimensions of size L

Article BASU506-L is 19 cm high, 10 cm wide and 10 cm long. These are external dimensions, not a stated usable capacity. Compare the height with your available shelf space and allow room above it to lift off the lid.

The manufacturer suggests uses including coffee beans or kitchen utensils. A fitted wooden lid should still be distinguished from an airtight closure: covering the opening does not establish a hermetic seal. Consider that distinction when deciding what to store. The smaller sizes in the collection are separate variants, not extra containers supplied as part of the L item.

Natural grain and changes in colour

Individual jars vary in tone and grain pattern, reflecting the natural material and handmade production described by the manufacturer. Photographs show a representative appearance, rather than an identical pattern guaranteed on every piece. The plain cylindrical shape and exposed wood work within a restrained arrangement or alongside other natural materials in a boho interior.

The manufacturer's care guidance notes that unmaintained teak may develop a silver-grey patina over time, particularly with sunlight exposure. Regular oiling or sealing is recommended to retain the original colour, following the guidance for teak. Consider both the display position and the amount of colour change you want to allow when planning its place in your interior.
