Bollard Light NORLYS Lillesand Wood 2351GR graphite LED 9.2 W 4000 K 49 cm

NORLYS Lillesand Wood 2351GR is a low bollard light, 49 cm tall and 12 cm in diameter, whose aluminium body in graphite RAL 7016 is interrupted by a section of wood. The top 16 cm is a satin diffuser, and the LED module and driver are built in, so there is no lamp to buy.

What light it gives

The luminaire draws 9.2 W and delivers 956 lm, which is 103.9 lm per watt. 4000 K is a neutral white: plants and paving look natural under it, without the yellowish tint of 3000 K. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is the usual standard for garden lighting.

The distribution is rotationally symmetrical, so the satin diffuser glows evenly all the way round and part of the light also goes upwards – the BUG rating is B1-U3-G1. The bollard dims on an ordinary phase dimmer (TRIAC), either trailing-edge or leading-edge, with no control bus needed.

Fixing and wiring

The base is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a 65 mm circle. Nothing for the foundation is included: the concrete-in anchor 205ZX0010, the ground anchor 206GA0010, the concrete foundation adapter 206GA0S10 or the mounting adapters 3086GA0009 and 3080GA0009 are chosen to suit the ground and bought separately.

The terminals take cable up to 2 × 4 mm² and allow loop-through wiring, so several bollards can run from one supply line. The cable gland accepts round cable of ø8–12.5 mm. The luminaire is protection class II and needs no earth conductor. The LED module and driver are replaced only by a professional service.

Construction and place in the garden

The body is powder-coated cast aluminium, the insert is impregnated Scandinavian pine, and the satin PMMA diffuser is sealed with a silicone gasket. IP65 protection means the bollard can stand uncovered in rain and snow, and it operates from −20 to +45 °C. Norlys states an L80 lifetime of more than 102,000 hours.

Norlys designed Lillesand Wood for gardens, private grounds and architectural projects – beside a path, in hotel grounds or by a restaurant's outdoor seating. Graphite paired with pale wood and a plain cylindrical form are hallmarks of Scandinavian design. The luminaire weighs 3.44 kg and ships in a 57 × 16 × 16 cm carton.
