Bollard light Norlys Molde 1972GR graphite LED 8.2 W 4000 K 80 cm with motion sensor

Molde 1972 is an 80 cm bollard light whose top curves forward in an arc: 11 cm wide from the front and 16.5 cm deep from the side, including the projecting head. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016, and the diffuser in the head is clear, textured UV-stabilised polycarbonate.

Motion and daylight sensor

The bollard has a built-in ESYLUX MD-C 360i/6 mini PIR motion sensor with a twilight switch and hold-on while motion continues. It leaves the factory set to maximum range, 1 minute on-time and a 10 lx twilight threshold — after dark the light comes on when someone approaches and switches off a minute after movement stops. How much light, and what kind

The integrated LED module draws 8.2 W and 438 lm leaves the fitting. 4000 K is neutral white with no yellow cast, CRI 80 renders colours correctly, and SDCM3 means several of these bollards glow in the same shade of white. The light source is not changed like a bulb.

The head directs light downwards and shields it from above: the maker quotes a ULOR of 2% and a BUG rating of B0-U1-G0, so almost nothing reaches the sky or windows higher up.

Installation and durability

The bollard is fixed with four screws through ø7 mm holes on an 18 × 50 mm pattern, following the included instructions, by a qualified person. Ground anchor 1908, concrete-in anchor 1907, concrete foundation adapter 1909GA or one of the mounting adapters (3081, 3090GA, 1906) are sold separately.

The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 4 mm² and the gland accepts cable of 4–8, 8–12 or 10–13.6 mm; the fitting can be looped through (up to 4 × 2.5 mm²), so several bollards in a row run from one supply. Protection class I requires an earth conductor. IP54 protects against dust and splashing water from any direction, IK07 against a 2 J impact. The bollard weighs 2 kg.
