Bollard Light NORLYS Molde DC1903CG cement grey LED 7.2 W 3000 K 50 cm 24 V DC

Molde DC1903CG is a 50 cm bollard light that runs on 24 V DC low voltage. The rectangular cast-aluminium body is 11 cm wide and bends forward at the top into a head that shines downwards, which gives it a depth of 16.5 cm. It is powder-coated in cement grey RAL 7033, and the light passes through a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser stabilised against UV.

24 V DC supply — what else you need

This is a 24 V direct-current fitting, so it is never connected straight to the 230 V mains. It needs a separate voltage-stabilised power supply, which is not included; choosing the driver and installing it is work for a qualified electrician. In return the bollard is protection class III — it runs on safety extra-low voltage and needs no earth conductor.

The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and further fittings can be looped through with up to 2 × 1.5 mm², so several bollards can share one supply run. The cable entry accepts round cable 6–10.5 mm in diameter. The LED modules are suitable for dimming; how they are controlled depends on the power supply and the installation design.

How much light, and what kind

Two Cree LED modules draw 7.2 W together. The sources produce 1064 lm, and the luminaire — after the head and diffuser — delivers 505 lm, i.e. 70.1 lm/W. 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 renders the colours of paving and plants faithfully.

The head is shielded from above: only 2.19% of the flux goes upwards, and the BUG rating B0-U1-G0 puts glare in the lowest class. That matters near windows and where skyglow is restricted.

Installation, durability and service

The bollard is bolted through four ø7 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm. The ground anchor 1908GA0009, concrete-in anchor 1907ZX0009, foundation adapter 1909GA0010 and mounting adapters 3081XX0009, 3090GA0009 or 1906ZX0009 are sold separately. The fitting weighs 1.48 kg.

IP54 protects it against water splashed from any direction, and it operates from −30 to +50 °C. The LED modules are replaced by a professional service; a service kit ZN1903XX0A09 and a spare diffuser ZN06190001 are available. According to TM-21 the luminaire keeps more than 90% of its flux after 52,600 h.
