BONAO LE42641 is a pendant light with three shades hung in a row from a plain black bar 70 cm wide. Each shade is made of two layers of glass: an outer smoked dome and a narrower inner cylinder holding the bulb. Bar, cables and lampholders are all black.
How big it is and at what height to hang it
The bar takes up 70 cm of ceiling, and the shades themselves are 18 cm across and 25 cm tall. Those 70 cm are the measurement to hold against your table top: over a table 80–90 cm wide the row of three keeps its proportions, over a narrower one it will dominate.
The maximum overall height is 158 cm, measured from the ceiling to the lower edge of a shade, so the cables are shortened during installation. Over a table, shades usually hang with their lower edge 70–80 cm above the top — the light then covers the table without shining into the eyes of anyone seated.
Which bulbs you have to buy
No lamps are included. The fitting has three E27 threads and the manufacturer caps each at 12 W. That cap settles the choice in practice: no filament bulb is sold at that wattage, so BONAO is fitted with LED lamps.
Since the fitting has no LED module of its own, the colour of the light is chosen along with the bulb — over a table, 2700–3000 K is the usual pick: warm light with a slightly yellow cast. The fitting can be dimmed, but only with bulbs described as dimmable and a dimmer in the installation.
The double shade and the build
Both layers of glass are see-through and open at the bottom, so the light goes down onto the table and the bulb is seen through a tint rather than head-on. One buying decision follows from that: the look of the bulb is part of the look of the lamp, which is why a decorative filament-style lamp is the usual choice here rather than a frosted globe.
The body is metal, the shades glass. The fitting runs on 230 V and is meant for dry interiors only — not for a bathroom shower zone and not for outdoors.
