CAPO End Cap for LUMINES A Profile, Black

The black CAPO A end cap is an ABS plastic finishing component for the LUMINES A profile. Variant 12-2262-01 is intended for LED profiles filled with polyurethane resin using SealFlow® technology, including profiles that have been cut to the required length.

Sealing a cut profile end

The cap fits over the end of the profile, with the joint sealed using LUMINES non-acetate silicone 14-2029-05. Fitting the cap alone does not replace this sealing step: the way the joint is finished matters to the seal. The manufacturer's IP68 statement applies to the sealed SealFlow® system, not to the loose end cap.

Choosing the system A component

Check the profile designation and required end colour before ordering. This is the black universal end cap for system A, rather than the white or grey CAPO version. Its shell encloses the profile end. The manufacturer's illustration shows the outside and inside of the same component; those two views do not establish the number of pieces supplied in a pack.
