LUMINES A LED profile, anodised INOX, 1 m

LUMINES A article 10-0013-10 is a 1 m aluminium LED-strip profile with an anodised INOX finish. Its open rectangular section accommodates the strip and accepts BASIC or HIGH system covers. This is a component for building linear lighting, rather than a complete lamp with a specified brightness or colour temperature.

Check the section as well as the length

The profile measures 16 mm across and 9.3 mm high. Compare these dimensions with the available space at a furniture edge or beneath a shelf: surface mounting leaves the body above the supporting surface, unlike a recessed profile fitted into a routed channel. This particular article is 1000 mm long. The letter A identifies the system, not the length of the piece.

The manufacturer specifies LED strips up to 12 mm wide. The 13.4 mm internal measurement shown in the section drawing does not replace that strip-width limit. Check the actual strip dimensions before choosing the other components, rather than using the outside width of the aluminium body as a guide.

Mounting and system components

The A-system documentation illustrates surface fixing with double-sided tape and dedicated mounting clips. Suspended and hinged configurations also form part of the system. Select the relevant hardware for the intended construction; the different illustrated arrangements should not be read as one combined installation kit.

BASIC and HIGH covers require the corresponding end caps and mounting components. Cover material and optical version should be considered when planning the assembly. The profile alone does not determine the finished lighting distribution. In the system documentation, the power supply is positioned outside the profile.

Furniture and interior-detail lighting

Series A is intended, among other uses, for decorative illumination of furniture and interior finishes. Its straight outline and exposed anodised surface suit restrained contemporary cabinetry. INOX names the finish on aluminium here; it does not mean that the body is stainless steel. Plan the final light effect around the selected strip and cover, rather than assuming it from the profile colour.
