LUMINES A 10-0010-20 is a raw, non-anodised aluminium profile for building linear LED lighting. This section is 2020 mm long, equivalent to 2.02 m. Its low rectangular cross-section allows an LED strip to run along the surface of furniture or interior fittings without using a recessed profile.
Choosing the strip and cover
The profile accepts LED strips up to 12 mm wide. Its external width is 16 mm and its height is 9.3 mm; compare these dimensions with the intended mounting position. The overall housing width is not the maximum permitted strip width.
System A works with BASIC and HIGH covers. The cover type also determines which end caps and mounting clips are suitable, so select components for the intended configuration rather than by colour alone. The LED strip, cover and power supply are parts of the lighting assembly; the profile itself does not determine brightness, light colour or control options.
Surface mounting or suspension
The manufacturer specifies installation using double-sided tape or mounting clips. The system documentation also covers suspended installations with suitable accessories. Choose the fixing method to match the supporting surface and planned assembly. Unlike a recessed profile, profile A does not require a prepared groove.
Article 10-0010-20 identifies the raw finish. Do not confuse it with a silver anodised profile, even though both have a metallic appearance. This description concerns a straight section, not a separately ordered bent version.
A restrained line in interior fittings
The simple geometry supports modern and minimalist interiors. The profile is intended for decorative lighting in furniture and interior finishes, including kitchen cabinetry and furniture in living rooms or bedrooms. The lighting effect depends on the selected strip and cover. Plan the length using the exact 2020 mm measurement rather than the rounded description of 2 m.
