The 7668 concrete foundation is a precast block 30 × 30 cm across and 73 cm high, buried in the ground under a Norlys pole or garden lantern. Its top face has an opening for the supply cable and protruding fixings of electro-galvanised steel, and one side has a long slot for bringing the cable in.
Which lights it fits
Norlys specifies it for light-construction luminaires and poles from the Bologna 362, 364 and 365, Chelsea 951 and 953, Firenze 810, 820 and 830, London 482, 483, 491, 492 and 495 and Modena 301, 302, 303, 382 and 397 ranges, and for poles 3010 and 30101. No light or pole is included – the foundation is bought for a fitting already chosen from this list.
Weight and installation
The block weighs 121.5 kg, so it takes at least two people or lifting equipment to move it and set it in the hole. The excavation has to take a 30 × 30 cm block to a depth of around 73 cm, with room to bring the cable in from the side. A ready-made foundation saves pouring concrete on site: the pole is fixed to it following the installation instructions supplied with the product.
