ATLANTICA is a corner sofa bed from the Polish brand CustomForm (LARB2 Sp. z o.o., Chorzów). This variant, code SF037ATLNAR-P-ET80, is the right-hand version, in RICH fabric in ink (et80), with woodwork in walnut-stained beech.

Right or left — the decision you cannot undo

The letter P in the code stands for the right-hand version: seen from the front, the chaise section is on the right. The manufacturer flags this separately when ordering, because it is the one parameter that cannot be changed after delivery — the sofa is not modular and there is no option to swap sides. The mirrored version carries the letter L.

A practical tip: before ordering, stand in the doorway and picture the piece against the wall. If the chaise is to run to the right of the main seat, you need the P version.

A 220 x 120 cm sleeping area

Unfolded, the sofa gives 220 x 120 cm — a size between a single and a double bed: generously comfortable for one, adequate for two for a night or two, but narrower than a standard 160 cm double. The 220 cm length, on the other hand, is exceptionally generous and suits tall people for whom the usual 200 cm falls short.

The lifting section contains a storage compartment for bedding — full-size, not a token drawer. That is what decides whether the sofa works for everyday sleeping: without somewhere to put the duvet and pillows, the bed function dies within a week in practice.

Adjustable armrests and headrests

ATLANTICA has armrests and headrests with adjustable positions. In practice that turns one piece of furniture into several: a raised headrest supports the neck while watching television, a lowered one gives a clean, low backrest line; an armrest can be set horizontal to create extra space to lie down without unfolding the whole thing.

This particular variant is RICH ET80 fabric in an ink shade — a deep navy with a grey cast — with wooden elements in walnut-stained beech (dark wood). CustomForm makes ATLANTICA to order rather than from stock, so both elements are configurable:

Things to bear in mind

CustomForm states that all dimensions of upholstered furniture are given with a +/- 2% tolerance. At 250 cm long that is a possible deviation of up to 5 cm — leave some margin when fitting the piece into an alcove or between walls.
