The CustomForm TRIMETRIC FLOOR lamp in black RAL 9005 is a tall open frame of thin metal rods. It forms a slender pyramid on a triangular base; at the apex, with no shade, sits an exposed E27 holder. A bulb is not included.

At 150 cm the light source sits roughly at standing eye level and clearly above a coffee-table top. The widest measure of the base is 35 cm — check the gap beside a sofa or wardrobe before you place it, so the frame does not sit in a walkway. The skeleton does not block the wall, but it occupies the full height of the room, so a fixed position is more practical than frequent moving.

Lamp holder and switching

The cap is E27. The maker limits the source to 60 W. Because the bulb is fully visible, its shape, light colour and glass decide how the lamp looks when on and how light spreads in all directions — without a shade there is no narrow beam. Choose the source for a decorative point or a brighter wash over part of the room, and stay within 60 W.

A black-braided cable runs along the frame and ends in a mains plug. On the floor length there is an in-line switch, so you turn the lamp on without reaching the holder at the top. The holder has a copper look against the black frame; that is a construction detail, not a separate colourway.

Build and character

Black RAL 9005 applies to the metal frame of this version. Three edges meet at the top and open to the triangular base, which stands without a separate heavy foot. That geometry and the bare bulb suit modern, minimal and industrial rooms where furniture and lighting structure stay visible. Where it belongs

In a living room it can stand in a corner or beside seating, where 150 cm throws light above low furniture. In a bedroom keep the frame against a wall, clear of the path between bed and wardrobe. In a study or home office the open structure does not occupy the desk, but it will not replace a shaded desk lamp aimed at papers — light leaves the apex and goes sideways.

It is a free-standing indoor floor lamp. It is not hung and not wall-fixed; you buy the bulb separately. Black RAL 9005 sets this piece apart from white RAL 9003 and gold RAL 1111 in the same family.
