VASAGLE RVT004B01 is a dressing table on a black steel frame, with a top and drawers in vintage-brown particleboard, a tri-fold mirror and a matching stool. The frame with exposed bolts and the mesh panels on the sides give it an industrial look, and the manufacturer intends it for the bedroom.
How big it is and where it fits
The table is 90 cm wide and 40 cm deep, and 141 cm tall with the mirror. Compare the width with the free stretch of wall and the height with whatever hangs above the spot — a shelf, a wall light or a windowsill. The tabletop sits 75 cm above the floor, the height of an ordinary table.
The mirror can be left off during assembly, which turns the piece into a small desk with the same top and drawers.
What it holds
Three drawers under the top take palettes and a hair straightener, and a raised shelf under the mirror has four open compartments for lipsticks and bottles. A mesh cup of 8 × 8 × 10 cm for brushes and a hair-dryer holder hook onto the side of the frame. The back of the mirror carries hooks for jewellery.
The side panels of the mirror fold inwards, so make-up and hair can be checked in profile without a hand mirror.
Stool, materials and assembly
The stool measures 42 × 28.6 cm at the base and stands 42.5 cm tall, so the seat is about 32 cm below the tabletop. The seat is foam-padded and covered in faux leather, and the manufacturer gives a maximum static load of 150 kg for the stool. The frames of table and stool are steel, the top and drawers particleboard, the mirror glass.
The set weighs 25.7 kg and comes for self-assembly. The box holds the table, the stool, a fittings kit, instructions and an anti-tip restraint for fixing the table to the wall. The manufacturer states that children must not climb on it.
