End cap for LUMINES MICO LED profile, white, with hole

This end cap is a round part made of white ABS plastic that closes the end of the LUMINES MICO LED profile. Its face carries an elongated opening — the supply lead of the LED strip passes through it. The rim is notched and follows the inner contour of the profile.

Which profile it fits

The part belongs to the MICO system alone — the round LUMINES profile intended for lighting shelves, cabinets and displays. It will not fit profiles with a different cross-section, so check the marking of the profile you already have installed before ordering.

Alongside the MICO profile the manufacturer also lists the SLIM LENS 15 cover, an LED strip and a mounting bracket. The end cap replaces none of them — it simply closes the profile run at both ends.

The cable opening and fitting

The cap is pushed into the end of the profile; on the inside it has catches and a pin that seat in the grooves of the profile, so fitting needs no screws and no glue. The version with the opening goes on the end the lead comes out of; the opposite end is usually closed with the version without an opening, code 12-0981-01.

LUMINES supplies the same part in black, grey, silver and inox ABS as well as in aluminium — black and silver. The colour follows the finish of the profile, because the cap stays visible once fitted.
