Endon Celia CELIA-12 is a cream lampshade with an oval footprint and sides that flare towards the lower edge. Its faux-silk fabric is lined with white faux silk, while gold and ivory braided trim follows the upper and lower rims. This item is the shade, not a complete lamp.
Understanding the 31 cm size
The 31 cm designation refers to the longer measurement across the lower rim. The shade stands 22 cm high. Its lower oval measures 23 by 31 cm, and the upper opening measures 13 by 18 cm. These are the two dimensions of each oval, not adjustable ranges or alternative sizes supplied with one item. CELIA-12 identifies this particular size within the Celia family.
Compare both lower measurements with the space available before ordering. An oval shade presents a different outline from the front and side, so the longer measurement alone does not describe its footprint. Consider the 22 cm height alongside the proportions of your existing lamp base; it is the shade height, not the height of an assembled lamp.
Fitting and light-source compatibility
Endon specifies a fixed gimbal and use with an E27 or B22 GLS bulb rated at no more than 60 W. The bulb is not included. When replacing an existing shade, check the mounting arrangement on your lamp as well as its bulb designation. Matching the bulb cap alone does not confirm the mechanical connection.
Celia is not a self-contained electrical light fitting. Brightness, light colour and dimming depend on the lamp and the chosen bulb, rather than controls within the shade. Illuminated photographs show how the fabric looks in use; they do not indicate that a light source is supplied.
Cream fabric and a defined decorative edge
The curved profile and braided edging support a classic appearance. Choose it for a compatible lamp in a living room, bedroom, hallway or study, rather than as a replacement for the entire fitting. When coordinating it with a base, account for the cream outer fabric, white lining and gold accent instead of treating this version as a plain white shade.
