Endon Farmhouse is an exterior wall light on a curved swan-neck arm, finished with a wide conical metal shade in textured black. The inside of the shade is white, and the lamp itself is shielded by a clear glass cylinder hanging beneath it.
How much wall it takes up
The fitting is 39.7 cm tall and the shade measures 29.7 cm across, and it projects 36 cm from the wall. That last figure decides where it can go: by a doorway it is worth checking that 36 cm of projection clears the swing of the door and the walkway along the wall.
It mounts on a round backplate screwed to the wall, with the cable entering from behind. The fitting is Class I, so the supply has to include a protective earth — a job for an electrician rather than a plug-in fitting.
The light it gives and the lamp to buy
There is one lamp holder with an E27 thread, rated for an LED lamp of up to 10 W. No lamp is supplied, so colour and brightness are yours to pick — the manufacturer recommends LED filament lamps, because the glass cylinder under the shade leaves the lamp in full view.
The wide opaque shade with its white interior sends light downwards, onto the surface below the fitting: the wall, the threshold or a stretch of path. For an entrance or a terrace the usual choice is warm light around 2700 K, which matches the look of a filament lamp.
Build and outdoor use
The body combines aluminium and stainless steel in a textured black finish, and the lamp cover is clear glass. The fitting is rated IP44, meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction — the manufacturer intends it for mounting on an outside wall.
