Endon Myrtle 109964 pink table lamp base, 38 cm, without shade

Endon Myrtle 109964 is a table lamp base supplied without a shade. Its shaped body has a glossy pink-clay finish, with a brass lampholder above it. Rounded sections and raised rings recall the turned spindles of a traditional staircase. The construction combines resin, steel and brass; pink is the main colour of this variant, rather than the brass of its socket.

Choose the shade separately

Endon recommends pairing this base with a decorative fabric shade measuring 25 or 30 cm in diameter. A shade is not included with this version. The photographs show the base with its lampholder exposed, not a complete shaded lamp. Consider the shape and dimensions of your chosen shade as part of the purchase: it completes the outline and affects how light is distributed.

The base measures 38 cm high and 12 cm in diameter. The quoted height is not the overall height of a finished lamp with a shade. Before placing it on a side table or chest of drawers, compare the available space with the dimensions of the planned combination. The footprint of the base alone does not establish clearance around the shade.

A replaceable B22 bulb

The switched lampholder takes one B22 LED bulb rated up to 10 W. The bulb must be purchased separately. B22 is a bayonet fitting, so a screw-base E27 bulb is not an alternative. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb you select. There is no integrated LED module, and the manufacturer lists the base as non-dimmable.

The white braided cable is 1.5 m long. The official product record specifies a UK three-pin plug; check socket compatibility before ordering. This Class I fitting requires an earth connection. Its instructions require a stable, flat surface and indoor use away from bathroom locations.

A traditional profile with a pink finish

The spindle-like silhouette and brass detail support classic and rustic living-room or bedroom schemes. The glossy pink body remains a visible feature even with a neutral shade. For care, use only a dry cloth, not liquid or abrasive cleaners. Unplug the lamp and let the bulb cool completely before replacing it.
