Endon Myrtle 112164 is a Cotswold green table lamp base supplied without a shade. Its profile recalls a turned staircase spindle, with a rounded middle, narrow sections and stacked rings above a broad circular foot. The resin body has a gloss finish; the brass lampholder is a contrasting detail rather than the main colour of the lamp.
Choose the shade separately
Myrtle is a base for combining with your chosen shade, not a complete shaded table lamp. Endon recommends decorative fabric shades measuring 25 or 30 cm in diameter. That choice determines the finished lamp's width and appearance, so the footprint of the base alone is not enough when planning where the assembled lamp will stand.
The base measures 38 cm high and 12 cm in diameter. These are the dimensions without an added shade, not the overall size of the completed combination. On a bedside table, living-room chest or hallway console, compare the available space with the chosen shade as well as the base. The instructions require a stable, flat supporting surface.
A separate B22 bulb and lampholder switch
One B22 LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W is required and is not included. This is the permitted bulb power, not a brightness or colour-temperature specification: those depend on the bulb you select. The lamp is non-dimmable and has a switch at the lampholder.
The white braided cable is 1.5 m long. The official specification lists a UK three-pin plug, so check socket compatibility before buying. This Class I fitting requires an earth connection.
Traditional form and everyday care
The green gloss finish and brass detail suit classic, rustic and English-country interiors. The base can also form a decorative table lamp for a study, but no brightness is specified for the finished combination. It is intended for indoor use and is not suitable for a bathroom. Clean only with a dry cloth, without liquid or abrasive cleaners. Disconnect the power and allow the bulb to cool fully before replacing it.
