FELANZO LE45241 is a pendant lamp built from three opal white glass shades threaded one above the other on a single axis. Flat discs in brass and muted blue separate them, and a gold canopy closes the top. The two upper shades are rounded; the lowest has the shape of an inverted bell.
How big it is and at what height to hang it
The luminaire body itself is 50 cm tall and 17 cm across at its widest point — a narrow vertical form that does not crowd the space above a worktop. The canopy is 16 cm in diameter and 4 cm high, so it covers a standard installation box.
The drop adjusts between 65 and 255 cm by shortening the 200 cm suspension cable. Above a kitchen island or a table the bottom edge of the shade usually sits 70–80 cm above the surface; the 65–255 cm is measured from the ceiling, so subtract the height of your own worktop and that 70–80 cm of clearance from the room height.
How much light it gives and of what kind
The built-in LED module draws 20 W and delivers 1200 lm, half as much again as an old 60 W incandescent bulb. 3000 K is warm white — slightly yellow light with no cool cast. The opal glass scatters it sideways, so the whole three-part body glows rather than only the lowest shade.
The light source is included and forms part of the fitting, so it cannot be replaced. The light can be dimmed, but only with a TRIAC (leading-edge) dimmer bought separately — 0–10 V and DALI controllers will not work with it.
Finish and the interiors it suits
The manufacturer lists two materials: porcelain and glass. The shades are opal glass; the discs between them carry gold and shades of gold together with blue. White, brass and muted blue read as decoration even when the lamp is switched off.
The manufacturer intends it for use over a kitchen island. The form is modernist: repeated rounded volumes stacked rhythmically, with no ornament and no visible fixings. The small diameter makes it possible to hang several in a row over a longer counter.
