Vazzano by Gallery Direct is a garden parasol base with a low, round body and a central pole holder. Its black finish has lighter, distressed-looking highlights visible in the product photographs, bringing out the raised interlacing pattern around the edge.
A decorative detail beneath the canopy
The geometric relief sets Vazzano apart from plain bases and gives it a classic appearance. The manufacturer lists cement, steel and polypropylene as its materials. It is intended for Gallery Direct parasols and outdoor use in the garden or on a terrace.
Weight and positioning
Marketed by the manufacturer as a 20 kg base, this model has a stated net weight of 19.8 kg. Its width is 45 cm; compare that measurement with the space around the intended pole position before choosing where to place it. The base provides ballast for a parasol, but suitability of the holder for the particular pole still needs checking.
