Gea Luce GBIS15 is a suspension kit for 48 V lighting tracks, with a ceiling canopy intended for connection to a remotely positioned power supply. The canopy and the ceiling and track attachments have a champagne finish. A cylindrical cover and small mounting fittings give the assembly a restrained appearance.
Check the track reference first
The kit is intended for Gea Luce tracks GBIN40, GBIN41, GBIN42, GBIN43, GBIN44, GBIN45, GBIN46 and GBIN47. Match the precise track reference when assembling the system: colour alone does not establish compatibility. GBIS15 is a mounting and connection accessory, not a standalone light fitting.
Support cables and electrical connection
The manufacturer specifies two steel suspension cables and one 2 m power cable. The steel cables support the suspended track, while the power cable provides the electrical connection. The installation therefore needs a planned location for the external 48 V system power supply.
The assembly instructions show cable adjustment and trimming. Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel with the power disconnected. Compare the intended suspension arrangement with the manufacturer's installation drawing before deciding on the final mounting position.
