Green Designers White Sparrow GD 712 artificial plant insert for planters, 25 × 50 cm

White Sparrow GD 712 by Green Designers is a planter insert arranged with artificial ferns, philodendrons and nasturtiums. Fine, divided fronds sit alongside larger rounded leaves, creating a dense composition in several shades of green. It is an indoor plant decoration designed to sit inside a container, rather than a panel for fixing to a wall.

Allow for the base and the foliage

The base format is 25 × 50 cm. Green Designers makes the inserts by hand to order, adapting their size and shape to the intended planter. Compare the container's internal measurements with the proposed insert size before choosing it. Measuring only the outside of the planter will not tell you how much usable space is available inside.

The thickness of the supporting base is adjusted to the container's depth. Above it, the vegetation measures 10–40 cm in height. The base dimensions therefore do not describe the complete footprint and height of the finished arrangement. Allow room for projecting leaves, particularly if the container will sit beneath a shelf or close to a walkway.

Artificial greenery for indoor spaces

The plants are made using textile materials, plastics and rubber. They need neither watering nor sunlight. Placement can therefore follow the layout of the room without having to provide the growing conditions required by living ferns or philodendrons.

The manufacturer specifies domestic and professional use. The insert can provide plant decoration in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, studies and reception spaces. Its abundant, irregular foliage suits boho interiors. The contrast between delicate fronds and broad leaves gives the arrangement a layered appearance rather than the flat surface of a uniform green panel.

Planning a larger arrangement

For larger planters, the manufacturer may divide the insert into numbered modules that combine into one continuous composition. Assemble these following the supplied instructions. Non-standard dimensions and shapes need to be agreed before ordering. The photographs show the character of the foliage, but they do not replace measuring the actual container that will hold the insert.
