K-3996 from the BARTEZ II series is a five-arm chandelier in white powder-coated metal. The curved arms spring from a central stem and end in flat discs with candle-shaped sleeves, so the fitting repeats the form of a candelabrum. There are no shades or diffusers, and the bulbs stay in full view.
Split across two switches: 3 + 2
The five light points are divided into two separately switched groups — three arms and two. That gives three brightness levels without a dimmer: two bulbs, three, or all five.
There is one condition, and it is settled during installation: two switched live conductors from a double switch have to reach the ceiling box. On a single circuit all five sockets come on together.
Size and hanging
The chandelier spans 65 cm and stands 75 cm tall including the chain, of which 40 cm is the body itself. The ceiling canopy is 10 cm across and 6 cm deep, so it covers a standard installation box.
The drop is set by the length of the chain. Above a table the bottom of the candles usually sits 70–80 cm over the tabletop; with a 65 cm span it is worth checking how much room is left to the edge of the table and to the walls.
Which bulbs to buy
The fitting takes five bulbs with the small E14 cap and none are included. The manufacturer states a maximum of 10 W LED per socket — the limit covers both power and technology, so halogen and traditional bulbs of higher wattage do not belong here.
Because nothing covers the sources, the whole envelope of the bulb is visible. The manufacturer recommends candle bulbs for this model, especially with a twisted tip, as they follow the shape of the sleeve. Colour and brightness depend entirely on what you fit — 800 lm from one bulb matches the old 60 W incandescent.
Construction and series
The whole structure is powder-coated metal and the lamp is made in Poland. The BARTEZ II series also includes a wall light of the same form, which can carry the same interior further.
