Italux Dorme E27 table lamp with graphite glass base and black shade TB-63748-BL-SG

Italux Dorme TB-63748-BL-SG is a compact table lamp with a graphite-coloured glass base and a black fabric shade. Its rounded lower body sits beneath a straight cylindrical shade, with the central support visible through the tinted glass. The manufacturer specifies steel, glass and fabric: this is not an entirely opaque black-base version.

Check the space around the shade

The lamp is 28 cm tall and measures 13.5 cm in diameter. Compare those dimensions with the tabletop and any shelf above it before choosing a position. When arranging it beside books or other objects, allow for the shade as well as the lower base. That distinction matters particularly on a narrow bedside cabinet or a small desk.

The manufacturer lists living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, studies and children's rooms. In those settings, Dorme serves as an additional lamp standing on furniture rather than a ceiling fitting. Whether it provides enough light for reading at a particular position also depends on the separately selected bulb and the distance to the page.

Choose an E27 bulb separately

Dorme has one E27 socket and does not include a light source. The manufacturer permits a conventional or LED bulb up to a maximum of 40 W. This is the bulb's power limit, not a fixed consumption figure for the fitting regardless of the bulb installed.

Brightness and light colour are determined by your bulb choice. Dimming is listed as possible with a suitable light source, so an E27 fitting alone does not guarantee that every bulb will work with a dimmer. Check compatibility between the bulb and its control before buying them. The manufacturer's supply rating is 220–240 V.

Black fabric with a graphite glass body

The plain shade and rounded base can accompany both traditional furniture and restrained contemporary interiors. Consider the graphite glass as well as the black fabric when matching finishes: the two parts have different visual effects. The illuminated manufacturer photograph shows how the shade looks in use, but does not specify the colour or brightness of a bulb purchased separately.
