Italux Riado 2-Light Silver Spotlight E14 SPL-3422-2-SN

Italux Riado SPL-3422-2-SN is a two-light spotlight fitting with adjustable heads on a straight bar. Its steel body has a satin nickel finish, with open, flared shades and a round ceiling canopy centred behind the bar. The silver-toned finish is satin rather than mirror-polished chrome.

A separate direction for each light

The adjustable heads let you change where the light falls without moving the entire fitting. In a living room or hallway, this gives you a way to aim the two lights at different parts of the space. The manufacturer also lists kitchens and children's rooms among its applications. The final effect depends on the bulbs you choose and the position of the heads. This is a fixed two-light assembly, not a track that can be extended with extra spotlight modules.

Check the bar against your ceiling space

The fitting measures 27.5 cm long, 13 cm wide and 16 cm high. Compare those dimensions with the intended ceiling position before choosing it. The manufacturer also specifies an 8 cm diameter. With no long pendant drop, this short bar is an option where a hanging lamp is not part of the plan. The flared metal shades retain the familiar outline of a classic spotlight, while the straight rail and restrained construction also suit a modern interior.

Two E14 bulbs are required

Bulbs are not included. Riado takes two E14 light sources, and the manufacturer permits traditional or LED bulbs with a stated maximum power of 40 W. Check bulb dimensions against the open shades as well as the fitting's requirements when selecting replacements. Brightness and colour temperature come from the chosen bulbs; the nickel finish does not determine either. Dimming is possible with a suitable light source, so check that the bulbs support it rather than assuming every LED is dimmable. The supply rating is 220–240 V. Replaceable bulbs also let you change the lighting characteristics later without replacing the complete fitting.
