A.6112/2 is a wall light cast from brass in the Oro Francese — French gold — finish. The lamp is closed by a half-round shade of satin white glass carrying a printed gold ornament; a brass rim with vertical panels caps it at the top and a small fluted knob finishes it underneath.
How much wall it takes up
The manufacturer gives 30 cm width, 15 cm height and 26 cm depth. The fitting sits against the wall on its base and spreads sideways, so it occupies a band 30 cm wide and 15 cm high — the figure to compare with the free wall space left between whatever else hangs there.
How much light it gives
The sconce takes two E27 lamps rated up to 60 W each. Bulbs are not included, so colour and brightness are yours to choose — a single bulb of around 800 lm matches the old 60 W incandescent, and here two of them work side by side.
The glass is satin finished, which makes it opaque and diffusing. Instead of two distinct points of light you see one evenly lit glass surface, with the gold print reading as a darker outline across it.
Construction and style
The body is cast brass rather than folded sheet, which is where the full, rounded profile of the rim and the clearly stepped vertical panels come from. The ornament on the glass is what the manufacturer calls the "Serigrafia" decor: it is printed, and its gold repeats the finish of the metal.
This is a classic fitting from the manufacturer's period-style range. It works as wall-level light in a living room, a dining room or a hallway, and in hotel interiors — wherever the lighting is meant to stay diffuse and close to the wall.
