Jupiter 2032 FIGARO Ceiling Light, 5 × G9, Amber Glass, Black and Gold, 82 cm

FIGARO is a ceiling light spanning 82 cm, built from three black arms crossing beneath a round canopy. At their ends — and one in the middle — sit five spheres of amber smoked glass, each in a brass collar. The contrast of matt black, gold detail and warm glass is the whole idea of the fitting.

The bulbs show, so the choice matters

The glass is clear in an amber tint — the bulbs are plainly visible through it. That means the source you choose genuinely changes how the lit lamp looks: a decorative G9 LED with a visible "filament" plays up the retro character, while a plain frosted capsule gives a more neutral effect. The fitting takes five G9 sources of up to 14 W each and does not include bulbs — five have to be bought separately.

How much light it gives

Five points spread across an 82 cm diagonal light a sizeable space evenly, without forming one strong shaft under the centre. The amber glass filters some of the light and warms its colour, so even with cooler bulbs the effect stays cosy. This is a lamp for a living room, dining room or large bedroom — in a small room the 82 cm span is simply too much.

Installation

It fixes directly to the ceiling on a round canopy; overall height is 34 cm, so this is not a flat flush fitting — the spheres hang below the arms and need room above them. The 2.35 kg mass calls for a solid fixing. Supply 230 V; the IP20 rating restricts the lamp to dry interiors.

Build and warranty

Frame and arms are steel, the shades glass. The lamp is made by Jupiter in Częstochowa, Poland, with a five-year warranty.
